No. 2

No.2 is the designation for this Long Valley Fire Engine. Which means there was, conceivably, a no. 1. And why is ‘number’ abbreviated no.? Why not nu.? And why was the Long Valley Fire Engine found in Mount Carmel, Utah? I just have so many questions.

  1. Thanks, Joe. The truck looked to be in great shape. Maybe it’s still being used? Who knows. But, as for your suggestion, I was drinking when I posted this and I’m still annoyed with abbreviations!

  2. First of all I love the image Emilio and the truck looks like its still in relatively good condition. I agree that abbreviations really bug me also like bldg. (bludge), pkwy. (pickwee), assoc. (ass-oche). They sound silly. They don’t seem to bother me half as much as they do you though 🙂 Have a couple of glasses of wine and chill my friend. Awesome work.
